Wonderful day trip to Malacca from Singapore. We felt privileged to have Mr Chan as our tour guide and Mr Wan as our driver. They did a wonderful tour and was informative and well as interesting.

We had an awesome day. WAN, the driver did a good job of getting us from Singapore to malacca Malaysia. Traffic was very heavy coming back but it was worth the drive there. Eddie was our tour guide and he gave us great history of the area. Both of them did an excellent job!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and amiable. The tour helped us put Singapore's and Malaysia's history in context.

The trip started out a bit rocky as there was some confusion with our pick up point. We were able to connect with our driver and once on our way our experience was pleasant and interesting. Our driver did not speak much English however his driving skills were excellent. We were expecting this based on other reviews and did not expect anything more. He provided 2 stops along the way and on the way back. We met our guide in Malacca. He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We enjoyed the tour of the historic district very much. Lunch was a bit strange. We were the only people in what seemed to be some kind of banquet hall meant for big groups. The staff was pleasant and the food was find. I would have really enjoyed lunch on the water at a cafe in the historic district. We would have been glad to have paid for our lunch, had we been given the opportunity. If we were ever to return we would spend the night and enjoy the Malacca City lights and the Jonker Street night market.

The driver felt in sleep whilst driving, my sister and me avoided a crash with another car. The guide in Malacca was unacceptable dominant, forced us to eat in a „Halal“ restaurant without any information, his English was poor, he denied to change the driver regardless a quasi crash. But all in all : Malacca is a beautiful destination and worth every efforts.

We went there on a weekday, there was not much traffic. It was a drive-through service through the SIngapore - Malaysia border. Unfortunately, we encountered heavy rain during the Malacca River cruise. The guide at Malacca was very professional and he adjusted the tour accordingly. He gave special attention and care to small kids. Overall we are happy with the tour.

The driver and guide were absolutely wonderful people. One thing to take note is when public holidays are on. We were unaware and as a result it took 5 yes 5 hours to get through the checkpoint from Singapore to Malaysia. I acknowledge this is no fault of the driver or guide. I just felt really bad for the driver as he would have had an extremely long day. We still made it back to Singapore just in the nick of time at 11.45pm, so I didn’t have to change my online incoming passenger declaration. Other than that, we still got to see everything that was in the schedule. The guide was very knowledgeable, explaining everything with such detail and he was a very happy and friendly person.

We booked this trip because Malacca sounded really interesting, and we are on a quest to go to 100 countries so a day out of Singapore to Malaysia sounded great. And Malacca is definitely an interesting place with a few sights worth seeing. Unfortunately, our guide was not particularly engaged or engaging, and his English was very difficult to follow. So he didn't add much to the experience - we could have just gotten a driver and done this ourselves, honestly, and been happier. Also fyi, the immigration lines can be horrendous - on the way back it added 2 hours to the trip. I can't recommend this one.

We departed Singapore at around 7:30am and arrived in Malacca at around 11am. We went on a Monday so there was no wait at the border crossing. I would recommend going on a weekday if you can. Traffic was also not bad at all, it took about 3.5 hours each way. We also stayed in Malacca until about 3:40pm, and I felt like it was plenty of time to see the highlights of the city and take a boat tour. I learned a lot about Malaysian culture and history that I did not know before. Our tour guide, Eddie, was great! He was so funny and I learned a lot. He took a bunch of pictures for us and showed us a local restaurant for lunch and it was delicious. Would love to take another tour with him if I can!
